If you are coming to Whistler to ski, I would recommend booking a hotel within walking distance of the lifts. Almost all the hotels will tell you that they are within walking distance but that sometimes means 500m-1.5km away which is way too far to walk in ski boots (especially with kids).

Hi Jen,
We are coming to Whistler on December 29th – Jan 1st.
We do not have a room yet and may be interested in one day of for the three of us to have a guided ski tour.
It’s me, my wife and our 13 year old daughter. We can ski but not experts.
