Once you've mastered Whistler's blue runs, it's time to check out some black diamonds!!

Just like the blue and green runs in Whistler, there's a large variety of difficulty within the black runs too.

Set yourself up for success (especially if you're on family ski holiday) by choosing the easiest black runs in Whistler and increasing difficulty from there!

HERE ARE THE EASIEST BLACK RUNS IN WHISTLER

Dave Murray Downhill (especially the upper section)
Raven
Catskinner (Blackcomb)
Jimmy's Joker

These 4 black runs are almost always groomed. Although they are steep, being groomed makes them the easiest black runs in the resort.

If you're heading to any other black run on Whistler or Blackcomb, be aware that they will likely be full of moguls.

RECOMMENDED: Practice some blue bumps before heading into harder blacks (Green Acres is a great place to practice this).

NOT SURE WHAT YOU'RE READY FOR?

Hire a ski guide/private lesson guide to show you around the mountain and take you to the best spots for your ability level. One day with a guide will get you oriented and make your experience the best it can be!
