Spring in Whistler is hit or miss! You never know what you're going to get.

You could have beautiful sunny skies, perfect weather for spending the day on the mountain and the afternoon by the lake. You could have pouring rain all the way to the top of the mountain or you could have snow all the way to the bottom!

You could have the most epic powder day of the season (with no lines), slush top to bottom or seriously icy conditions, you never know!

The Beauty Of Visiting Whistler In The Spring

With the luck of good weather, Spring is one of the best times to visit.

You can do multiple sports in one day. With the snow in the valley melting and the mountain open until 4pm you could spend the morning golfing or biking and head up the mountain for an afternoon ski.

The days are long and the sun starts setting later so afternoons by the lake are the best!

The cherry on top is the spring discounts! Spring is the off season one of the cheapest times to visit Whistler, there are deals to be had on almost any activity you could think of.

The Risk Of Visiting Whistler In The Spring

The weather in the spring in Whistler is extremely unpredictable. Although it's unlikely to have pouring rain everyday of your trip, it's entirely possible that the weather doesn't play out in your favour and you aren't able to spend all of your days outside.

Luckily there are some fun indoor activities available and great discounts to be had in the spring.

If you're booking a Whistler family vacation in the spring, don't forget your rain jacket!
